EPA Excludes Used Cathode Ray Tubes from Hazardous Waste Regulations in Mid-Atlantic States

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is taking direct final action to exclude used cathode ray tubes (CRTs) and glass removed from CRTs from the definition of 'solid waste' in the EPA Region III Mid-Atlantic States, aiming to promote reuse and recycling of electronics.
