Oregon Department of Transportation Seeks Exemptions from Federal Regulations for Farmers

The Oregon Department of Transportation has submitted an application to the FMCSA for exemptions from federal regulations governing commercial motor vehicles, allowing farmers certified by ODOT to operate vehicles without meeting the same safety standards as other motor carriers.
