FCC Grants Pacific Bell Authority to Operate in California

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved SBC Communications Inc., Pacific Bell Telephone Company, and Southwestern Bell Communications Services, Inc. (Pacific Bell) to enter the interLATA telecommunications market in California, following a review of their compliance with statutory requirements.
