FRA Retains $6,700 Monetary Threshold for Reporting Rail Equipment Accident/Incidents in 2003 and Beyond

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has established a monetary threshold of $6,700 for reporting railroad accidents/incidents involving property damage during calendar year 2003 and subsequent years, pending a future review to establish a new formula.
