Arizona Approved to Administer NPDES Program

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved Arizona's application to administer the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Program, allowing the state to oversee pollution discharge in its areas, except Indian country, under the Clean Water Act (CWA).
