Federal-State Joint Board on Universal Service Adopts Interim Modifications to Federal Universal Service Contribution System

The Commission has adopted several interim modifications to the existing federal universal service contribution system, aiming to sustain the universal service fund and increase predictability of support in the near term while continuing to explore more fundamental reforms.
