Eighth Coast Guard District Temporarily Relaxes Drawbridge Regulation for Preventive Maintenance

The Commander of the Eighth Coast Guard District has issued a temporary deviation allowing the Crescent Railroad Drawbridge to open on signal with at least 6 hours' notice during a 53-day period starting January 7, 2003, to facilitate preventive maintenance necessary for the drawbridge's safe operation.
