US Implements 2003 Agricultural Assistance Act for Crop Disaster Assistance and Livestock Program
The US government has implemented a rule to provide crop-loss disaster assistance to farmers who suffered losses in 2001 or 2002, and to establish a Livestock Assistance Program, as mandated by the 2003 Agricultural Assistance Act and the Consolidated Appropriations Resolution of 2003.
