Nuclear Regulatory Commission Confirms Effective Date for FuelSolutionsTM Cask System Revision

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has confirmed the effective date of January 28, 2002, for a direct final rule that amended the NRC's regulations to include the BNFL Fuel Solutions (FuelSolutions TM ) cask system listing, allowing for the use of the W74 canister in a transfer cask until a storage cask is repaired or replaced.
