Nuclear Regulatory Commission Proposes Amendment to Holtec International HI-STORM 100 Cask System

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing to update its regulations to allow for the storage of high-burnup fuel and other modifications to the Holtec International HI-STORM 100 cask system, which would enable the addition of new canisters and containers, as well as changes to the system's design and thermal analysis tools.
