U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Extends Comment Period for Louisiana Energy Services Gas Centrifuge Enrichment Facility

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has extended the comment period for a proposed gas centrifuge uranium enrichment facility in Tennessee, following public feedback at a forum on October 14, 2002, and comments submitted by Louisiana Energy Services (LES) in response to a Federal Register Notice published on October 2, 2002.
