NHTSA Receives Petition for Importation of Nonconforming Mitsubishi Evolution VII Cars
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has accepted a petition to allow the importation of 2001 and 2002 Mitsubishi Evolution VII left-hand drive passenger cars that do not meet all federal safety standards, as they can be modified to comply and are similar to US-certified vehicles.
