Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards; Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment

The U.S. government has extended the public comment period for a proposed rule on vehicle safety standards for lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment until October 31, 2003, in response to petitions from industry groups, including the Transportation Safety Equipment Institute and the Truck Trailer Manufacturers Association.
