U.S. Department of Commerce Proposes New Survey on Financial Services Transactions with Foreign Persons

The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) is proposing a new quarterly survey, BE-85, to collect data on financial services transactions between U.S. financial services providers and unaffiliated foreign persons, with the first survey set to cover transactions in the first quarter of 2004.
