Federal Acquisition Regulation to Require U.S.-Flag Vessels for Certain Subcontracts

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have agreed on a final rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation to require the use of U.S.-flag vessels for certain subcontracts for commercial items, a change that would impact the transportation of supplies by sea.
