Federal Acquisition Regulation; Increased Federal Prison Industries, Inc. Waiver Threshold

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have finalized an interim rule increasing the blanket waiver threshold for small dollar value purchases from Federal Prison Industries, Inc. to $2,500, allowing federal agencies to avoid purchasing products from FPI's Schedule at or below this threshold.
