US Patent and Trademark Office Proposes Revision of Patent Fees for Fiscal Year 2004

The US Patent and Trademark Office is proposing to adjust patent fees to reflect inflation, as measured by the Consumer Price Index, and also to align certain fees with the adjusted patent fees, in order to recover increased business costs. The proposed changes may be superseded by legislation currently being introduced in Congress.
