NCUA to Review and Reduce Regulations on Federally-Insured Credit Unions
The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) is launching a review of its regulations to reduce the burden on federally-insured credit unions, as mandated by the Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act of 1996. The agency is seeking public comment on two categories of regulations, Applications and Reporting, and Powers and Activities, which it plans to publish for review between now and 2006.
