FDA Proposes Classification for Resorbable Calcium Salt Bone Void Filler Device

The FDA is proposing to classify the resorbable calcium salt bone void filler device, intended to fill bony voids caused by trauma or surgery, into Class II with special controls, following recommendations from the Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Devices Panel and public comments.
