FDA Releases Guidance on Human Tissue Processing for Transplantation

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released a guidance document to remind tissue establishments of procedures to prevent infectious disease contamination during human tissue processing for transplantation, including viruses, bacteria, fungi, and transmissible spongiform encephalopathy (TSE)-associated prions.
