Request for Nominations for Voting Members on Public Advisory Committee; Veterinary Medicine Advisory Committee

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is requesting nominations for voting members to serve on the Veterinary Medicine Advisory Committee (VMAC) in one of the following specialty areas: Pharmacology, Minor Species/Minor Use Veterinary Medicine, and pathology. Nominations for the VMAC chairperson are also being solicited. Information regarding the committee can be found on the CVM home page at http://www.fda.gov/cvm/index/vmac/vmactoc.htm. FDA has a special interest in ensuring that women, minority groups, and the physically challenged are adequately represented on advisory committees and, therefore, encourages nominations of qualified candidates from these groups.

Proposed Data Collection Submitted for Public Comment and Recommendations

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as part of its continuing effort to reduce public burden and maximize the utility of government information, invites the general public and other federal agencies the opportunity to comment on a proposed information collection, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. This notice invites comment on a proposed information collection project titled Public Health Crisis Response (PHCR) Cooperative Agreement. The Public Health Crisis Response (PHCR) Cooperative Agreement provides rapid funding to help existing public health programs respond to major public health emergencies and crises.
