FDA Amends Filing Notice for Color Additive Petition Filed by Ciba Vision Corp. (formerly Wesley Jessen Corp.)

The FDA is updating the filing notice for a color additive petition submitted by Ciba Vision Corp. (formerly Wesley Jessen Corp.) to clarify that the additive in question is more accurately described as mica coated with iron oxides or mica coated with titanium dioxide for use in contact lenses, rather than simply mica.
