FDA Announces Submission of Proposed Collection of Information for Food Canning Establishment Registration and Recordkeeping

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing that it has submitted a proposal for the collection of information to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and clearance under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. The FDA is seeking public comment on the proposed collection of information related to the registration, process filing, and recordkeeping requirements for food canning establishments producing acidified and thermally processed low-acid foods in hermetically sealed containers.
