FDA Approves New Animal Feed Additive Ractopamine

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has amended its regulations to allow the use of ractopamine hydrochloride in animal feeds for finishing swine, following approval of two supplemental new animal drug applications by Elanco Animal Health.
