FDA Approves New Animal Drug for Postoperative Pain in Dogs

The FDA is amending its regulations to reflect the approval of deracoxib tablets, a new animal drug submitted by Novartis Animal Health US, Inc., for the treatment of postoperative pain and inflammation in dogs following orthopedic surgery.
