FDA Approves New Animal Drug for Swine Respiratory Disease Treatment

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has amended its animal drug regulations to approve a new application for Schering-Plough Animal Health Corp.'s florfenicol concentrate solution, which will be used to treat respiratory disease in swine by adding it to their drinking water.
