FDA Approves New Lincomycin Dosage Form for Swine

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is updating its animal drug regulations to reflect the approval of a supplemental application by Alpharma, Inc. for a new dosage form of lincomycin, allowing its use in medicated drinking water for pigs with no withdrawal period.
