US Coast Guard Establishes Temporary Final Rule for Bridge Closures in NYC

The US Coast Guard has issued a temporary final rule allowing the bridge owner to close three bridges in New York City for a short duration on May 4, 2003, to accommodate the Five Borough Bike Tour, while vessels that can pass under the bridges without a bridge opening may do so at any time.
