DHS Extends Validity Period for Form I-600A Applications Due to SARS Delays

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has amended its regulations to allow the Director of the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS) to extend the validity period for Form I-600A applications, which are related to the adoption of alien orphans, due to delays caused by the SARS outbreak in 2003.
