Coast Guard Establishes Regulated Navigation Areas and Safety Zones in Long Island Sound

The U.S. Coast Guard is creating a regulated navigation area and two safety and security zones in Long Island Sound to ensure public safety and prevent sabotage or other subversive acts, requiring vessels to obtain authorization from the Captain of the Port before entering or operating within the zones.
