Coast Guard Modifies Bridge Operation Regulations to Reduce Drawtender Hours

The U.S. Coast Guard is updating the rules governing the operation of several bridges across the St. Croix River, including the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad Bridge and the Union Pacific Railroad Bridge, to reduce the number of hours a drawtender must be present at each bridge while maintaining satisfactory service to vessels.
