Bureau of Nonproliferation Imposes Sanctions on Moldovan Entities for Missile Proliferation Activities

The US government has determined that certain entities in Moldova are involved in missile technology proliferation, prompting the imposition of sanctions under the Arms Export Control Act and the Export Administration Act of 1979, as mandated by Executive Order 13222, issued on August 17, 2001.
