U.S. Immigration Rule Expands Protections for Trafficking Victims

The U.S. Department of Immigration has introduced a new visa category (T) to provide relief to victims of severe human trafficking, allowing them to apply for non-immigrant status and extend protection to their immediate relatives in extreme hardship situations.
