U.S. Government Lifting Part of Sanctions on NIKIET for U.S. Contractors

The Bureau of Nonproliferation has partially lifted an administrative measure imposed on the Scientific Research and Design Institute of Power Technology (NIKIET) to allow U.S. government contractors to receive information produced by NIKIET at a 2003 seminar on the Kursk 5 RBMK reactor, pursuant to Executive Order 12938.
