Availability of Funds and Collection of Checks: Federal Reserve Board Updates Routing Numbers and Announces Check Processing Amendments

The Federal Reserve Board is updating the routing numbers for Federal Reserve Banks and Federal Home Loan Banks, and also announcing a series of future amendments to appendix A that will reduce the number of check processing regions from 44 to 32, starting in the second half of 2003 and ending in late 2004.
