Tobacco Regulation and Maintenance of Effort Reporting Requirements for Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant Applicants

The U.S. government has issued an interim final rule clarifying that states must submit the required maintenance of effort (MOE) information by the deadline, separating it from the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) Block Grant application, and setting a December 31 deadline for the submission of the Synar report.
