US Forest Service to Revise Environmental Impact Statements for Vegetation Management Plans in Appalachian, Coastal Plain/Piedmont, and Ozark/Ouachita Mountains

The US Forest Service, Southern Region, plans to update its Environmental Impact Statements for Vegetation Management plans in three regions to clarify management requirements for endangered species and improve the efficiency of biological evaluations, allowing for more flexible analysis methods.
