EPA Approves Texas' Low Emission Diesel Fuel Program for Dallas-Fort Worth Area

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a supplemental proposal for Texas' State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision for the Low Emission Diesel (LED) fuel program in the Dallas-Fort Worth Consolidated Metropolitan Statistical Area (CMSA), which includes nine counties. The approval follows recent changes to the LED rule proposed by the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission (TNRCC), including a new implementation date of April 1, 2005.
