EPA Region VII to Delete Farmers' Mutual Cooperative Superfund Site from National Priorities List

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region VII is issuing a notice of intent to delete the Farmers' Mutual Cooperative Superfund site in Hospers, Iowa, from the National Priorities List (NPL), and is requesting public comments on this decision. The EPA and the state of Iowa have determined that all necessary response actions under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) of 1980 have been completed, but future actions under Superfund are still possible.
