EPA to Deactivate Farmers' Mutual Cooperative Site on National Priorities List
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region VII is publishing a direct final notice to remove the Farmers' Mutual Cooperative site in Hospers, Iowa, from the National Priorities List (NPL), following completion of all necessary response actions under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) of 1980. The decision is made in collaboration with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, as the state concurs with the EPA's determination that further remedial action is not required.
