Proposed Implementation of Special Refund Procedures

The Office of Hearings and Appeals (OHA) of the Department of Energy (DOE) announces the procedures for the disbursement of $528,941, plus accrued interest, in crude oil and refined petroleum product overcharges obtained by the DOE pursuant to consent orders signed by Intercoastal Oil Corporation, Case No. LEF-0057, and Gulf States Oil & Refining, Case No. LEF-0073. The OHA has determined that the funds will be distributed in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR part 205, subpart V and DOE's Modified Statement of Restitutionary Policy in Crude Oil Cases.
