Federal Agencies to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for East-West Corridor Projects in Louisiana

The Federal Highway Administration and Federal Transit Administration, in collaboration with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development and the Regional Planning Commission, will prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for proposed transportation projects in St. Charles, Jefferson, and Orleans Parishes, including a rail transit connector to the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and an extension of the Earhart Expressway.
