EPA Approves Maryland Air Quality Plan Revisions

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved revisions to the State Implementation Plan (SIP) submitted by the State of Maryland, which sets a three percent per year emission reduction rate-of-progress (ROP) requirement for the Philadelphia area from 1996 to 2005, and includes contingency measures and corrections to base year inventories for Cecil County.
