US WEST and WCA Resolve Retransmission Consent Issues with FCC

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved a document resolving petitions for reconsideration filed by US WEST, Inc. and the Wireless Communications Association International, Inc. regarding the implementation of the Satellite Home Viewer Improvement Act of 1999, which governs the retransmission of television broadcast signals by multichannel video programming distributors (MVPDs).
