EPA Withdraws Direct Final Rule for Latrobe Steel Company's NOX RACT Determination

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is withdrawing a direct final rule to approve a revision to establish reasonably available control technology (RACT) requirements for the Latrobe Steel Company, a major source of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the Pittsburgh-Beaver Valley ozone nonattainment area, following receipt of adverse comments from Citizens for Pennsylvania's Future (PennFuture).
