EPA Declares Spokane Particulate Matter Nonattainment Area Attained

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has confirmed that the Spokane, Washington particulate matter (PM-10) nonattainment area has met the National Ambient Air Quality Standards, as mandated by the Clean Air Act, by December 31, 1997.
