Medicare Program; Hospice Wage Index Fiscal Year 2002

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced the annual update to the hospice wage index, effective October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002. This update is based on recommendations from a negotiated rulemaking advisory committee and reflects local differences in wage levels.
