EPA Proposes Administrative Settlement with Standard Steel for Clean Water Act Violations

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has entered into a consent agreement with Standard Steel, a division of Freedom Forge Corporation, to resolve Clean Water Act violations, including failure to prepare a Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure plan and maintain certification forms. The EPA has assessed a civil penalty and is seeking public comment on the proposed final order.
