Coast Guard Closes Section of Cooper River for Vessel Traffic Due to National Security Concerns

The Coast Guard has temporarily restricted access to a section of the Cooper River near the U.S. Naval Weapons Station in Charleston, South Carolina, following recent security incidents in New York City, Washington D.C., and Western Pennsylvania, and is only allowing authorized vessels to enter the area.
