EPA Approves Texas Plan to Reduce Hospital Incinerator Emissions

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved the Texas 111(d) Plan, submitted by Governor of Texas on June 2, 2000, to implement and enforce the Emissions Guidelines (EG) for existing Hospital/Medical/Infectious Waste Incinerators (HMIWI), aiming to reduce toxic air emissions from these facilities.
